The Program Committee is now seeking contributions for presentations for the KHNOG 8 Conference. We are looking for presenters who would participate in the conference as a speaker.

Topics must be relevant to Internet operations and technologies. The following topics are examples of possible areas of interest:

IP Core Networks

IP core network routing, switching, and operations.

IPv6 deployment and transition technologies.

Cable/DSL, LTE/5G, wireless, metro ethernet, fibre, and segment routing.

Cyber & Network Security

Network security issues (NSP-SEC, DDoS, Anti-Spam, Anti-Malware) and BCPs.

SDN & Automation

Software defined networking, network function virtualization, and network automation.

Content & Cloud Delivery

Content & service delivery (Multicast, Voice, Video, Telepresence, Gaming) and cloud computing.

DNS & Routing Security

DNS / DNSSEC operations and RPKI deployment.

IXPs & Peering

Internet Exchange Points, peering, and inter-domain routing strategy.

Artificial Intelligence (AI)

AI applications in networking, threat detection, and operational optimization.

Internet of Things (IoT)

IoT architectures, standards, services, security, addressability, and manageability.

Smart Cities

Smart Cities architecture, security, and addressing implementations.

Operational Research

Research on Internet operations, measurement, and infrastructure deployment.

Submission Requirements

Draft slides must be provided with submissions; otherwise, the Program Committee will be unable to review the submission. For work in progress, the most current information available at the time of submission is acceptable.

  • All draft slides submitted for PC review must be in PDF, PPT, or PPTX formats only.
  • Final slides are to be provided by the specified deadline (31 October 2026).
